Trying to steer clear of all the traffic heading south for Spring Break we decided to travel westward. While thousands of travelers had to deal with the sun and beaches, we had to contend with the snow, wind and frigid temperatures. With no agenda to follow, we just let the days play out as they were intended to. Rocky Mountain National Park, the Black Hills in South Dakota and finally Badlands National Park would become our focus for the week.
